colorfull creating...a paper project!!

creating for camas...it's time for the camas day parade...

crafting with caroline making something i have never made!!

celebrating the paper mill and fashion...replicating the image above...

recreating this hat with a paper mill...a project i did love!! 

collaborating on this effort...cutting, pasting and more...

a bit of sewing and fitting...the finished products i adore!!

using my grandmas buttons and white wire for the steam...

white plastic chain for the handbag and a cork necklace that is a dream!!

this ensemble first made in 1940 by a woman named neva mcdowell...

creating at it's finest!!...mostly mill products...the hankie a paper towel!!

a few more details to add...making our skirt look more like this...

and the paper bag sleeves will be taped on...paper jacket bliss!!

and if on saturday you attend the parade...caroline will be in this chic design!!

kennedy creates..."i want to go to camp at gg's"...

creating with kennedy...had a very special day!!

this sweet girl wanted "camp" at my house so that we could play!!

we started with a checklist of some of the fun things to do...

and one by one we checked off...and added a few other things too!!

we baked a yummy bread...stirred and baked this delicious treat... 

gathering, trimmed and arranged flowers...her first time...so so sweet!!

downtown a few times we went...once to drop off my rainbow art...

and to the farmers market later...bought cherries from the mart!!

with nana she made tags for my window space coming soon...

and the plaid art...she surprised me...what a sweetheart!!...over the moon!!

so next time when she visits we have the unchecked to do and more...

everyday yes...white!!

within the chaos of the color i love lots of white!!

mixed with my colorfull palette it always seems right...

and a few fun finds lately have me over the moon!!

scattered about around the house they will be in place soon!!

the white plastic grapes stopped me in my tracks...

and the 3 sizes of swans...there was no turning back!!

and unusual vintage vases and planters i always am looking for

everyday yes at the white house...white i will always adore!!

so a little while back i showed you my art...

for a very special event that truly has my heart!!

called "picnic in color"...it is simply the best...

and to be a part of this special committee!!...i wanted to show you the rest...

my fringey fun creation turned from paper to this...

and it is hanging throughout camas...everyday bliss!!

and my 4 x 8 rainbow was a labor of love...

and will be decorated by attendees and hung from above!!

so excited that dear lynsey will be painting there too...

showing her amazing talent...what's a mother to do?? :D

there will be dancing and creating and lots of things to eat...

balloons and painters...it will all be such a treat!!

velvet and fringe and pom poms definitely makes my heart sing!!

"the parties over" theme was gold and glittery the whole time...

and last years too was a wild one but this time designed with a bed...

a child's room with all the trimmings was the vision in my head...

white house wonderful...dream come true two!!...hgtv cover!!

a few weeks ago so excited to see!!

our front door on the cover...as thankful as can be!!

hgtv magazine visited the white house for the second time...

and i have wanted to share this...it was incredibly fine!!

once again the crew appeared and oh what fun!!

our front door was photographed...and this is the one...

the july and august issue is on newsstands now!!

and the lovely that they captured is simply just wow!!

and to have our neighbors darling dog...the icing on the cake...

and hosting this amazing group...smiles for us it did make!!

and the flowers and the pots...took my breath away...

and the colorfull and creative...what wonderful days!!

and for visiting us here and for capturing our door of blue!!

so thankful for this time...we will never forget...
