from granny to great....

many ways to turn granny into great

this collected colorfull...so easy to make!!

you will need:

a dowel

assorted granny squares

thread, twine or yarn

beads

tape

layout out your grannys...many many options :D

cut your dowel to size

cut lengths of string...be sure and double the length

consider where you want the string to be strung in the grannys...

then add that many

loop your string on a dowel

then make a point with tape on the end of the two strings...

that will serve as a needle to thread your beads and grannys

start by adding a row of beads

then add a granny attaching it so it is secure and won't flop

each one is different so you will have to adjust to that

continue with a row of beads, then a row of grannys

keep going until you like the shape and size

add a string to the top so you can hang it

add a dowel or beads at the bottom if you want!!
