terrific travels...salvation mountain...part 2...

the branches...the limbs...the trunks all intertwined...
the palette of perfection particularly fine...
this igloo like woodsy area of folk art fame
is painted and sculpted, but not finished, and not the same
as the "god is love" mountain...connected with a path of yellow...
this creator, this artist, a humble ingenious fellow!!
the vignettes...the walls...the hay here and there
and tacked on a tree a photo of the artist placed with care...
inside this space with the blue up above
you are overwhelmed by the beauty...simplicity yet chaos...and love!!
his life's work reflected in flowers and words
with limbs and mounds and many, many birds...
trying to imagine this artist as he went about his day
with an idea, branches, paint cans and clay...
passionately laboring without water or light
his message to the world in plain view at this sight...
over 300 photos later...i have immersed myself in this place
this story of one man's life in this magical colorfull space...
swirling and painting his vision so clear...
thankful for this time and all the joy we experienced here...
